Academic Upgrading
Various upgrading opportunities exist at Camosun. You may just want to finish your high school diploma, or brush up a few skills before starting on your post-secondary academic journey. Whatever your need, we have an option for you.
- Academic Upgrading at the Fundamental and Intermediate levels in English, math, science or computer studies
- Academic Upgrading at the Grade 11 and 12 levels (College Preparatory)
- Indigenous College Prep, if you are interested in upgrading English and math while exploring Indigenous topics
- Grade 12 Equivalency, if you wish to obtain your BC Adult Graduation Diploma
- GED Prep (General Education Development Preparation) course, if you want help to prepare to write the GED exam
- Access programs, if you are planning on attending a college career-training program. These programs provide upgrading in English and/or math skills required for admission to your destination program, while giving you a head start on some of the courses in that area
Science Foundations, if you wish to complete admission requirements for further studies in the sciences: Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology, Environmental Technology, and Associate of Science Degrees.
Camosun also offers several employment preparation and career exploration programs.
